When I started playing Fantasica about over a month ago, I thought it was pretty cool to combine a CCG/TCG with a tower defense-type gameplay. I also enjoy games with a story, so I was pretty excited when I saw the game's intro.
However, I quickly realized that there wasn't much of a story after all, just a bunch of flavored text boxes with a character, usually Mina, before the actual fights, and was a little disappointed.
I was wondering if I was the only one who would have enjoyed a more complex story?
On a similar subject, if the game had a decent story (with cutscenes and all), would you be willing to pay for the extra chapters? If so, how much?
For the sake of transparency, I will add that I'm a game developer currently working on a mobile game that will actually have a story! Just looking for some input from some fellow players.
