PostSubject: New Player: Buying 3* or 4*   Mon Mar 18, 2013 6:41 am

Hi, I'm looking for a 3* or 4* card, preference for melee. I have no idea about the prices. I'd like to buy a card for luna but most of the topics sell for TE (time elixir?). If you have one I can afford, please PM me or shoot me a trade in-game, my ID is <70372419>. Thanks!

I don't have enough elixir to buy good cards, so PM me if you want to sell for luna. Melee or KB 2, 3 or 4 *.

I believe you need to be level 31 before you can trade. You're level 29, so you're almost there. Just a few more trainings.

If I were you I would not spend TE (yes, those are time elixers) on a new 4*, seeing as you already have one. Save your TE for your first 5* unit. If you really want to buy another 4*, I'm pretty sure you can get one for 500k luna or so if you look around.

Hmm, didn't know about the lvl requiremente.

Why is TE so important?

Luna is used only for trades, right?

Thanks, you helped a lot!

Luna is only used for enhancing cards. After you've played for a while and managed to acquire a decent amount of luna, you'll find that you're never really short on luna. That makes luna not very desirable in trades. If you do happen to be short, you can simply do some quests & trainings to gain some more luna. TE is much more valuable, because it's much harder to acquire. You can only get TE as a prize in events. TE lets you skip cooldown in event quests, which allows you to rank higher in events and win more prizes.

Got it. I will save elixir for the better ones.

Can I get good cards with 4 TE?

What is the difference between the blue elixir (P) and the brown?

Brown TEs are tradable, Blue TEs(p) are personal use only.

Not much for 4TE, if you save up to 7-10, you can find average-good 5* cards for your use.

4 TE is not enough yet. I bought my first 5* (Camille) for 15 TE, but prices have been dropping recently so it's probably possible to buy him (or other decent 5* cards) for only 10 TE if you look long and hard enough.

(P) items are not tradable.

When you are lvl 31, you may send me in-game msg. I used to sell common 4* cards for luna but not much left. I still have

Mylene - Speed C - Missile
Partenope - Speed D - Magic - with Slow skill, and
Robert - Speed B - Melee

500K each as Colaleon said. I will throw in an extra for free since you are new. =)

BTW, you can check my shop as I am selling cheap. I am not promoting my shop since prices are very not stable these past couple weeks.

Great! I will!

One more doubt, what the LE next to the card name means?

Limited Edition. That means it's a card that can't be pulled from a regular card pack or box. It can be a card from a Series card pack, like the Beast Warriors that are currently for sale, or a card that was won in an event.

Limited Edition, but there are 3 categories,

Event "rank rewards" - most of these cards are very usable 4*s and good re-trade value
Event "grind-able rewards" - card stats and trade value depending on the grind requirement
Event "package cards" - you may purchase with $, some with good stats, but some are not. So after event not really usable other then collecting.
