So I'm playing the game on my Cellphone, and I feel pretty invested in the game. Already have a 6* and multiple high level 5*s, and 3000 coins saved up for the next event.
My contract is up for a renewal so I'll get a new phone, which I don't mind if its an android, I'll just start a new account and trade my cards over.
What I'm more conflicted about is the Windows phone. I really want the new Windows Phone to link with my Xbox live account. But the windows phone does not have Fantasica. What should I do Sad

Why not just use your old phone as a multimedia device?

I don't really like the idea of carrying around 2 phones. I'm usually online all day so I wouldn't want to have 2 phones on me.

What's more important, playing a game you enjoy or.. having your avatar on your phone. They won't really do too much else with the XBL account linking to the cellphone, so it'll eventually die/lose all interest.

Just go for the android and continue to play

Sounds like you're better off sticking with Android. The Nexus 4 is out soon enough and looks to be a great device.

What's the benefit of having your phone attached to your XBL account? Being able to communicate with your XBL friends while you're away from your 360? Seems like a bit of a novelty, imo, since you can't use your 360 when you're on the go.

Personally, I think that the Windows Phone will go the way of RIM -- Into the toilet. They only allow installations of software approved by Microsoft for the Window's store which severely restricts the Indie software developer scene. More than likely Microsoft will fail trying to get into the Mobile phone market.

Their Surface Pro series of tablets look promising with it's Windows 8 integration. I can see people using one out of convenience, however I don't see any reason to ever put Windows on my phone -- nor do most people.

This. Any "windows phone" will essentially end up like the Zune, or even now the Blackberries; Irrelevant in the end.

The nexus 4 does look awesome as long as the game is supported by the device.

Hey Grim! Since I don't have a smart phone and I play the game exclusively on a tablet, so I say go for the phone you truly want. Of course, the natural answer I'd take is to tell you to get the android so you can keep playing Fanta.

That answer, however, only really works if you are really loving the game.

Realistically, Fanta is not all there is, there are plenty of other considerations. XBL connectivity, impressive UI, and even personal preference --the fact that you're torn means that there are things that the Windows Phone offers that you truly want, and you can't deny yourself that over a single game/app.

So yeah, just go with whichever one you feel happiest with. Very Happy
